1.3 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the string "https://" and the padlock symbol in your browser line.

  1. DATA COLLECTION WHEN VISITING OUR WEBSITE When using our website for informational purposes only, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser sends to our server (so-called "server log files"). When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website:

  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you accessed the page

  1. COOKIES To make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser during your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process specific user information to an individual extent, such as browser and location data and IP address values. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie.

In some cases, cookies are used to simplify the ordering process by storing settings (e.g., remembering the content of a virtual shopping cart for a later visit to the website). If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR either for the execution of the contract or according to Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit.

We may work with advertising partners who help us make our website more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies may also be stored on your hard drive when you visit our website (third-party cookies). If we cooperate with the aforementioned advertising partners, you will be informed individually and separately about the use of such cookies and the scope of the respective information collected in the following paragraphs.

Please note that you can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. 1. CONTACT In the context of contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. The data that is collected when using a contact form is evident from the respective contact form. This data is used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after the final processing of your inquiry; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been finally clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

  2. DATA PROCESSING WHEN OPENING A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT AND FOR CONTRACT PROCESSING Pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed if you provide it to us for the execution of a contract or when opening a customer account. The data that is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. It is possible to delete your customer account at any time, and this can be done by sending a message to the above-mentioned responsible person. We store and use the data you provide for contract processing. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked with respect to tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after expiry of these periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or a legally permitted further data use has been reserved by our side, about which we will inform you accordingly below.

    1. USE OF YOUR DATA FOR DIRECT MARKETING 6.1 Registration for Our Email Newsletter

When you sign up for our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The mandatory information for sending the newsletter is solely your email address. Providing additional possible data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For the newsletter dispatch, we use the so-called Double Opt-in procedure. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter after you have explicitly confirmed that you consent to receive newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email, asking you to confirm by clicking on a corresponding link that you wish to receive newsletters in the future.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent for the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When registering for the newsletter, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected by us during the newsletter registration is used exclusively for the purpose of advertising in the form of newsletters. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the provided link in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the responsible party mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be promptly deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use it beyond that, as permitted by law, and about which we will inform you in this statement.

6.2 Sending the Email Newsletter to Existing Customers

If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services, such as those already purchased, from our range by email. In this regard, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you. The data processing is based solely on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send any emails. You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the responsible party mentioned at the beginning. For this, you will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be stopped immediately.

    1. DATA PROCESSING FOR ORDER PROCESSING 7.1 The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We will forward your payment data to the authorized credit institution as part of the payment process if this is necessary for payment processing. If payment service providers are used, we will explicitly inform you about this below. The legal basis for data transfer is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

7.2 Use of Payment Service Providers

    • PayPal When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or, if offered, "purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal, we will forward your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal") as part of the payment process. For payment methods such as credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or, if offered, "purchase on account" or "installment payment" via PayPal, PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check. For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness. PayPal uses the result of the credit check regarding the statistical probability of payment default for the purpose of deciding on the provision of the respective payment method. The credit check result may include probability values (so-called score values). If score values are included in the result of the credit check, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical method. In the calculation of score values, address data, among other things, is taken into account. For further data protection information, including information about the credit agencies used, please refer to PayPal's privacy policy: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full. You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to PayPal. However, PayPal may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for the contractual payment processing.

    • SOFORT If you choose the payment method "SOFORT," the payment processing will be carried out by the payment service provider SOFORT GmbH, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich, Germany (hereinafter "SOFORT"), to whom we will pass on the information you provided during the ordering process, including information about your order, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. 10) ONLINE-MARKETING

    10.1 DoubleClick by Google

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick").

DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google captures which ads are displayed in which browser, preventing them from being shown multiple times. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website, according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Furthermore, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions related to ad requests. This occurs, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later, with the same browser, visits the advertiser's website and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of data collected by Google using this tool and inform you according to our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will learn and store your IP address.

If you wish to opt-out of this tracking procedure, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by adjusting your browser settings to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google.de/settings/ads. This setting will be deleted when you clear your cookies. Alternatively, you can inform yourself about the setting of cookies and make related adjustments by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance website at www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can set your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and individually decide on their acceptance or block the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield Agreement, ensuring compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

10.2 Use of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, within Google AdWords, the conversion tracking of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use Google AdWords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords) on external websites. We can determine how successful individual advertising measures are in relation to campaign data. We thus pursue the interest of showing you ads that are of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you, and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an AdWords ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot, therefore, be tracked through AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can block this usage by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google AdWords based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield Agreement, ensuring compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

For more information on the privacy policy of Google, please visit: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

You can permanently disable cookies for ad preferences by preventing them through a corresponding setting in your browser software or by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

Please note that certain features of this website may not or only partially be usable if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

    11) WEB ANALYSIS SERVICES

    Google (Universal) Analytics

    • Google Universal Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics employs so-called "cookies," text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address, which is truncated before transmission) is usually sent to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()", ensuring the anonymization of your IP address through truncation and excluding direct personal reference. With this extension, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. In such exceptional cases, this processing occurs in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide us with other services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we advise you that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Alternatively, or within browsers on mobile devices, you can click the following link to set an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection by Google Analytics on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain; if you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield Agreement, ensuring compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

Additionally, this website uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor traffic, conducted via a User ID. Upon first accessing a page, the user is assigned a unique, permanent, and anonymized ID that is set across devices. This allows for associating interaction data from different devices and sessions with a single user. The User ID does not contain any personally identifiable data and does not transmit such data to Google.

Data collection and storage via the User ID can be objected to at any time with future effect. To do so, you must disable Google Analytics on all systems you use, such as in a different browser or on your mobile device.

You can disable this using a browser plugin from Google (Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on).

For further information on Universal Analytics, please refer to: Universal Analytics - Google Analytics Help

    12) RETARGETING/REMARKETING/RECOMMENDATION ADVERTISING

Facebook Custom Audience via Pixel Method

This website uses the "Facebook Pixel" of Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”). With explicit consent, this allows tracking of user behavior after seeing or clicking on a Facebook ad. This process aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can contribute to optimizing future advertising efforts.

The collected data is anonymous, providing no insights into the identity of users for us. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, enabling a connection to the respective user profile. Facebook may use the data for its advertising purposes, following the Facebook Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

You can enable Facebook and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook. Additionally, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes. These processes occur only with explicit consent under Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Consent for the use of the Facebook Pixel is restricted to users older than 13 years. If you are younger, please seek permission from your legal guardians.

Facebook Inc., based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield Agreement, ensuring compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

To disable the use of cookies on your computer, you can configure your internet browser to prevent future cookie storage or delete already stored cookies. Disabling all cookies, however, may limit the functionality of our website. You can also disable the use of cookies by third parties, such as Facebook, on the following Digital Advertising Alliance website: https://www.aboutads.info/choices/

    Google AdWords Remarketing

Our website utilizes the functions of Google AdWords Remarketing, advertising this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). For this purpose, Google places a cookie in your device's browser, allowing interest-based advertising based on a pseudonymous cookie ID and the pages you have visited. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimal marketing of our website under Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Further data processing occurs only if you have consented to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads you view on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data along with Google Analytics data to create and define cross-device remarketing audience lists. Personal data is temporarily linked with Google Analytics data to form target groups.

You can permanently disable the setting of cookies for ad preferences by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Google Ad Settings. Alternatively, you can inform yourself about the setting of cookies and make adjustments at the Digital Advertising Alliance website: www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can configure your browser to notify you of the setting of cookies and decide on acceptance individually or exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or generally. The functionality of our website may be limited if cookies are not accepted.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European Privacy Shield Agreement, ensuring compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

    13) DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

13.1 The applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive data subject rights (information and intervention rights) regarding the processing of your personal data by the data controller. Below, we inform you about these rights:

Right to Information (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, including the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data processed, recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage duration, the existence of the right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the scope and intended effects of such processing, and your right to information about the guarantees according to Art. 46 GDPR when your data is transferred to third countries.

Right to Correction (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to the immediate correction of any inaccurate data concerning you and the completion of any incomplete data stored by us.

Right to Deletion (Art. 17 GDPR): You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data under the conditions of Art. 17 Para. 1 GDPR. However, this right does not exist, especially if processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data as long as the accuracy of your data contested by you is verified, if you refuse the deletion of your data due to unlawful data processing and instead demand the restriction of processing of your data, if you need your data to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims after we no longer need this data after achieving the purpose, or if you have objected for reasons of your special situation, as long as it is not yet certain whether our legitimate reasons prevail.

Right to Information (Art. 19 GDPR): If you have exercised the right to correction, deletion, or restriction of processing against the data controller, he is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed of this correction or deletion of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common, and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another data controller, insofar as this is technically feasible.

Right to Withdraw Consent Granted (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR): You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of data at any time with future effect. In the event of revocation, we will delete the data concerned immediately unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on the consent until the withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): If you believe that the processing of the personal data concerning you violates the GDPR, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your place of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged violation.

    13.2

    Right to Object

If we process your personal data within the framework of a balancing of interests based on our overriding legitimate interest, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to such processing with future effect.

If you make use of your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, further processing is reserved if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that override your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is processed by us to conduct direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising. You may exercise the objection as described above.

If you make use of your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned for direct marketing purposes.

    14) DURATION OF PERSONAL DATA STORAGE

The duration of the storage of personal data is based on the respective statutory retention period (e.g., commercial and tax retention periods). After the expiration of the retention period, the relevant data will be routinely deleted unless it is still required for the fulfillment of a contract or the initiation of a contract and/or there is a continuing legitimate interest on our part for further storage.
